Gray D's real name is Doan The Lan, is a male singer, songwriter, and former member of Vietnamese boy band MONSTAR - a group under the management of St. 319 Entertainment. He first debuted as a member of MONSTAR in the MV Selfie My Xmas. In 2021, the group MONSTAR disbanded, Gray D became a solo artist.

The first opportunity that brought Gray D to the arts was when he participated in the Vocal contest. Viet Nhi 2014. Although he only stopped at the live show round, he was also known and loved by many audiences. After this contest, he continued to try his hand at the TV show Sing My Song 2016. Although he won the hearts of the judges and the audience, luck still hasn't smiled on him. However, one thing that everyone can notice is that the talent of the guy has been revealed through these competitions. Especially the song "Have a date with the youth", the last song of the group and also the most popular song by the audience. After MONSTAR disbanded, Gray D started a solo career with the MV "vaicaunoicokhiennguoithaydoi". As soon as the MV was released, it received a lot of positive feedback from the audience. After only 1 week of release, this MV has reached 2.8 million views and reached the Top Trending of Youtube platform and many other digital music applications. After the success of the first MV in his slolo career, the male singer born in 2000 released the next music products Keep it, Have an appointment with the youth, If Mai says goodbye .... Gray D's solo career has achieved many impressive achievements.
