Nguyen Hong Nhung studied vocal music at the Hanoi College of Arts and also studied at the Hanoi Open University, majoring in fashion design and industrial design. Succeeded in her singing career in 2004 when she participated in Sao Mai contest in 2004, but after getting caught up in two scandals right after receiving an invitation to D&D Entertainment with a month-long performance contract, she made an impression on the managers of this company when she attended the release of the album The Pain Gone was held in Saigon and was signed to cooperate with this company shortly after.

In 2010, she married Quy Nguyen - the younger brother of Trizzie Phuong Trinh male's ex-wife singer Bang Kieu; The couple also has a 6-year-old son named Nguyen Cong Minh with the nickname Skyler . Currently, she lives happily with her family along with a stable career in the US.
