Le Thi My Thao is one of the excellent swimming athletes of Vietnam , born in a normal family at Quang Binh . From a young age, she soon revealed special talents with water sports. However, because of difficult family conditions, My Thao's professional swimming road is not flat.
In 2008, when she was only 12 years old, she and her family moved to Binh Phuoc lived. It was here that her talent was discovered by the coaches at the Binh Phuoc Sports Training and Sports Center. Under the guidance of experts, My Thao started the journey to conquer the green track.

Not long after joining the provincial swimming team, My Thao quickly proved its bravery through a series of domestic tournaments. The persistent efforts helped her step on the podium at many national swimming tournaments. In particular, in 2017, she caught the attention when she won the Silver Medal at the 29th SEA Games in the 200m female butterfly content, marking an important step in her career. This achievement not only affirms its capacity but also helps My Thao be recognized as one of the leading fishermen in Vietnam. <4> Conquer the peak - defeat Anh Vien2020 is a memorable milestone when My Thao excelled in defeating the fisherman Nguyen Thi Anh Vien at the National Championship, winning the gold medal of 200m of female butterflies. This is a rare time for a female athlete who can overcome Anh Vien - a swimming monument of Vietnam for many years.
In addition, she also broke the national record at the 25m national championship swimming tournament in 2019, proving her outstanding progress.
