Who is Vietnam War Hero Nguyen Phong Sac?
Nguyen Phong Sac was a war hero, one of the early members of the Communist Party of Tonkin and one of the first members of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
Nguyen. Phong Sac's real name is Nguyen Van Sac, is the son of Nguyen Dinh Phuc, a person who used to participate in the movement. Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc movement, directly carried out the famous poisoning case (using tomato to poison the French army in Hanoi on June 27, 1908). After that, his father was discovered, arrested and exiled to Con Dao for 5 years.
As a child, he went to Buoi school, graduated valedictorian in the entrance exam in 1924. However, he refused to study in France under the decision of the French colonial government and applied to work at the Department of Finance Indochina. He was influenced by his father's patriotism, so in 1927 he joined the Vietnam Revolutionary Youth Union. Feeling disgruntled at the fact that a French man insulted a Vietnamese female employee, he quit his job at the Department of Finance to focus on revolutionary activities.
He began to travel many places, down to Hong Gai, Ninh Binh, go to Lang Son a>, to Laos... to build a movement. His house in Bach Mai village has become a meeting place, and the assets in the house are gradually sold to cover printing costs and to support officials. On March 7, 1929, he, along with comrades such as Nguyen Duc Canh, Ngo Gia Tu, and 5 other people, established a Party organization in the country. Nguyen Phong Sac spent money to buy equipment and supplies for the 5D Ham Long house, the headquarters of the cell.
On July 21, 1929, the Interim Executive Committee Conference of Indochina Communist Party held meeting in Beijing, appointed Nguyen Phong Sac as the person in charge of the Middle States region. After only a short time, he organized his forces and established the first communist cell in Vinh city, Nghe An. On May 1, 1930, workers of the Ben Thuy Match Factory stood up to protest. In March 1930, they went on strike for the second time. In September 1930, the revolutionary movement spread to Ha Tinh, successive protests broke out and spread. into a climax. Until September 12, 1930, the civil uprising of Hung Nguyen farmers was suppressed by the French colonialists by bombers, killing 217 people. Also around this time, he was appointed as a Standing Member of the Central Committee of the Indochinese Communist Party.
The French colonialists tried hard to track down the leaders of the uprisings of this struggle. In April 1931, Tran Phu was arrested. In mid-1931, the entire Central Party Committee was arrested. On May 3, 1931, Nguyen Phong Sac was pointed out in Hanoi. Because he could not see the bow from him, the secret agent returned to Hanoi and arrested his wife. On May 25, 1931, he was executed.
In memory of Nguyen Phong Sac's merits for the country, his name was used to name the route in Vinh-Nghe An, Hanoi, Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, An Giang.
