Nguyen Ngoc Son was born into a farming family in Thong Nhat hamlet, An Khanh commune, Dai Tu district, Thai Nguyen province. The lack of life made his childhood quite difficult. Watching his parents work hard all year round, Son soon understood that only studying could help him change his future. During 12 years of high school, Son continuously achieved the title of excellent student, for many years in the top group of the class.

The journey from poor student to design engineer

Entering Thai Nguyen University of Industrial Technology was an important milestone in Son's life. During his college years, he studied and worked part-time at factories to earn more income and gain practical experience. Thanks to his unremitting efforts, Son excelled and graduated a year earlier than the training program.

After graduating, he worked as a designer for a large enterprise in Hanoi. Two years of hard work helped Son save about 150 million VND - the first amount of money he spent to repair the degraded house for his parents. Life seemed to be gradually stabilizing, but storms suddenly came.

Family events and the burden of illness piled up

In early 2020, Son's father was diagnosed with lung cancer in an advanced stage. This information caused him to fall into a state of depression, with many sleepless nights due to worry and pressure. With an income of about 20 million VND per month, Son had to face extremely high treatment costs: his father had to undergo 12 rounds of chemotherapy, each round costing more than 100 million VND, not to mention the surgery to remove nearly a lung.

All the money he had accumulated over many years of working went into treating his father, and at the same time had to borrow more from relatives to maintain the treatment process.

Not yet. In time to stabilize finances, in 2021, Son's mother - Ms. Truong Thi Huong continued to have surgery for uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts and treatment for many chronic diseases such as diabetes and high blood pressure. By early 2023, she had a stroke and was paralyzed on half her body, causing all the economic and mental burdens to once again fall on Son's shoulders.

During that time, he took care of his parents' hospital bills and took care of his younger sister's education on their behalf, shouldering debts that lasted for many years.

Inspirational Family - Preserving love from simple things

In 2022, when strength With his parents' health temporarily more stable, Son came up with the idea of building an Inspirational Family YouTube channel. At first, his goal was very simple: to record family's everyday moments as memories.
