Who is Architect Vo Trong Nghia?
Vo Trong Nghia is a talented Vietnamese architect. He is an alumnus of Hanoi University of Architecture. He obtained an architect degree from Tokyo University (Japan). He once received the Green Good Design Awards. Recently, this architect was also honored by The New York Times (USA) for his green designs.
After graduating from high school, Vo Trong Nghia passed the entrance exam to three universities, namely the University of Architecture. Hanoi, University of Science and Technology, University of Civil Engineering. He chose Hanoi University of Architecture because he had a dream to design sturdy schools. In 1996, he was awarded a scholarship by the Japanese government to the Faculty of Architecture of the Nagoya Institute of Technology. In 2002, he graduated valedictorian and went on to win an honors scholarship from the University of Tokyo. After receiving his doctorate degree, he returned to Vietnam. In 2006, he founded Vo Trong Nghia Architects.
In early 2019, Vo Trong Nghia Architects (VTN Architects) company has surpassed hundreds of works around the world to honorably receive the Green Architecture Award 2019. Image of the project of Vo Trong Nghia Architects (VTN) Architects) will be printed in the “Good Design Yearbook for 2018 - 2019”. Green Good Design Awards - Green Good Design Awards is the oldest award in the world for green design that was started in 1950 in Chicago - USA. Previously, Vo Trong Nghia and his associates won the Green Architecture Award - Green Good Design in 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018 with projects such as Farming Kindergaten, House for trees, S-house 2, Stone house , Atlas Hotel, Hoan house, Dong Anh house, Son La Ceremonial Dome, Stacked Planters, Binh House…
