Became head coach of the Golden State Warriors in 2014 and led the team to an NBA Championship in his first season. Throughout his NBA career, he is known for his triple point shooting, winning three NBA Championships alongside Michael Jordan on the Chicago Bulls and two other with San Antonio Spurs.
With the Bulls, he hit the clinching series shot against the Utah Jazz in Game 6 of the 1997 NBA Finals, the most historic moment in his player's career.

He married Margot Kerr in 1990 and he has three children: Madeleine, Matthew and Nicholas. He is the son of Malcolm Kerr, an expert on Middle Eastern politics.
