Caricaturist Nguyen Tai's full name is Nguyen Huu Tai, pen name: NT, or Nguyen Tai.
Since he was young, he has pursued the path of painting. When he was only 20 years old, he graduated with a degree in painting from the Saigon College of Fine Arts (now Ho Chi Minh City University of Fine Arts). However, his career orientation is to follow the path of graphic design because in his opinion it is more suitable for his personality and this art form is always close to the viewers.
But after 1975, he was Chili painter (ie Huynh Ba Thanh) encouraged him to join the small force of cartoonists in Saigon at that time. Since then, he has followed the path of caricature art and that field has also brought him great success.
He is one of the cartoonists who collaborates with newspapers such as: Lao Dong, liberated Saigon, ... and the newspaper that stuck with him for the longest time was Tuoi Tre Newspaper. And until now, when mentioning the character Linda Kieu in the comic book on Tuoi Tre page, everyone remembers his name.
Not only working in the field of caricatures, Painter Nguyen Tai also works in art shows. fields such as teaching applied graphics at Lotus University, animation director at Liberation Film Studio, drawing comics…
