Shark Dung was born into a not-so-well-to-do family in a province in Central Vietnam during storms and floods all year round. With his own efforts, Shark Dung passed and graduated with a bachelor's degree in International Business from Foreign Trade University.

Shark Dung decided to quit his job and accumulate all his capital to study abroad in Japan. With unremitting efforts abroad, Shark Dung tried his hand at CyberAgent investment fund and he became the only Vietnamese to hold the position of director of this investment fund.
He brought capital. invests in startups in Vietnam and he is said to be the "sponsor" of famous startups such as Tiki, batdongsan, Topica, ... and he is also a founding member of the Foody brand.

Shark Dung is currently married and has a young son. His whole family is residing in Japan. However, Shark Dung's main job is in Vietnam, so every 3-4 months Shark Dung goes to Japan to visit his wife and children.
