Phan Thanh Tan is one of the promising young actors in the comedy village today. Although not properly trained through formal schools, but Thanh Tan attracted the audience's attention thanks to his simple, witty and humorous acting.
The charm that brought Thanh Tan to acting was very coincidental. On one occasion, when Thanh Tan was invited by his cousin to a children's head contest to play, watching the brothers and sisters act in plays and puppetry, he felt very interested and rekindled his interest in acting. "New Market Gypsy" is a musical film with the theme of the underworld, but instead of focusing on violent elements, the film will exploit the humorous and fun elements revolving around the gangsters. Thanh Tan (as A Che) is one of the three thugs rolling around in the gangster place. All 3 were accepted by Vi Ca as juniors and gradually met other brothers and sisters in the community.

Thanh Tan was born into a working family, his mother worked at the Public Service in District 11.
