Who is Composer Anh Viet Thu?
Anh Viet Thu, whose real name is Huynh Huu Kim Sang, is a famous Vietnamese musician in southern Vietnam. His younger brother's name was Viet Thu, so he took the pseudonym Anh Viet Thu.
In 195, Anh Viet Thu started writing music, his first songs were: Giong An Giang, Dep Bac Lieu.
From 1972 - 1974, Anh Viet Thu cooperated with Vietnam Record Company to make a number of music tapes to promote peace signals from the Paris Agreement.
On March 15, 1975, musician Anh Viet Thu died at Guangdong Hospital, Saigon (now Nguyen Tri Phuong Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City) due to kidney failure. He was brought home and buried in An Huu village (now An Huu, Cai Be, Tien Giang).
In his composing career, Anh Viet Thu left about 200 songs and some main works such as:
– Kim Sang Gala Dinner (10 songs without lyrics for violin and piano) Cantorum Schola Prize – Rome 1962
– Xuan Nguyen Hue (long song) Saigon Radio Prize 1966
– Our way go (inter cath)
– 20 songs Anh Viet Thu popularized in the years 1964-1968

In 1963, Anh Viet Thu graduated with honors at the Saigon National School of Music in the first class.
In 1964, Anh Viet Thu returned Tay Ninh taught at a high school.
In 1965, Anh Viet Thu and musicians Anh Viet Thanh, Ha Phuong, Pham Minh Canh, founded the Du Ca group. However, this group only lasted for 1 year, and then disbanded in 1966.
In 1966, Anh Viet Thu was invited by Vietnam Radio to do the program Phu Sa and The weekly radio arts
