Who is Composer Joseph Lamb?
The only non-African ragtime classic of the "Big Three". The other two are James Scott and Scott Joplin. He became known for undermining ragtime's usual four-measure phrase structure.
His career was made when Joplin highly encouraged him to publish ragtime John Stark. His first published work was "Sense". Joplin arranged it for printing.
