Best known for his television scores, this British composer wrote the theme songs for The Avengers, This Is Your Life, and Animal Magic, and also signed the hit single "Sucu Sucu. Also a film composer, he wrote music for the films Tiger Bay, The Moonraker, and Dr. Strangelove.
With his band at the London Big Band, he recorded a UK Singles Chart charted version of "His Themes from the 'Experts'".
