Who is Composer Tran Thien Thanh?
Musician Tran Thien Thanh was one of the leading musicians in Vietnam before 1975. He also used a number of other pseudonyms to compose such as: Anh Chuong, Tran Thien Thanh Toan, Thanh Tran Tran Thi. Tran Thien Thanh also participates in the singing field with the stage name Nhat Truong. He and the evil singer Hung Cuong, Duy Khanh, Che Linh were the four most famous male voices of golden music at that time. now.

After 1975, musician Tran Thien Thanh was one of many musicians banned by the State of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam from musical activities. Until 1984, he was allowed to work again.
In 1993, he immigrated to the United States under the family reunification program, ODP. After living in the US for a while, he married the singer My Lan. And also here, he founded his own record label Nhat Truong Productions and at the same time collaborated with Asia Center, Lang Van Center, May Productions, Hoan My Productions...
Musician Tran Thien Thanh passed away on May 13. May 2005, at his home in Westminster, Orange County, USA due to lung cancer.
In 2006, Asia Center conducted a special program Nhat Truong Tran Thien Thanh - You are not dead. In 2009, the program "Nhat Truong - Tran Thien Thanh 2" was implemented to honor him.

In 1958, he entered Saigon. After finishing school, he worked as a high school teacher.
In 1965, he graduated from the NCO School, he served in the Department of Psychological Warfare of the General Staff of the Republic of Vietnam Army until the end of April 1975.
After that, he worked at Military Radio and Television Station, was the head of the station's cultural department and after 1968 was also in charge of a war reportage program.
In the early 1960s, he took up the art of acting. known as Nhat Truong, established the Tu Ca Nhat Truong band with 3 female singers, Nhu Thuy, Van Quynh and Diem Chi. In addition, he also runs a music distribution and tape recording center called "Voice of the Twenty".

He married his wife, singer My Lan. The two have a son together named Tran Thien Anh Chi.
