His father was a man with a good finger, his uncle had a beautiful voice, had participated in activities in the youth democracy movement. Growing up in the cradle of art, since childhood, musician Vinh An has been passionate about art.
Composer Vinh An started composing before the August Revolution, his compositions carried Vietnamese folk tunes, especially those of his homeland. Musician Vinh An has composed a total of more than 300 songs and dozens of instrumental music for stage and cinema. In addition, he also wrote hundreds of lyrics for Northern, Central and Southern folk songs and dozens of other musical works for the stage.
Musician Vinh An used to be a soldier participating in secret activities, used to hold the positions of company captain, district captain, leader of the military literary group, head of the propaganda department... During the resistance war US, Vinh An used to go to the land of fire Quang Binh.
Songwriter Vinh An passed away in 1994 .
