Former Pakistan cricketer national team professional who became known as a prolific wicketkeeper/batsman. He was appointed head coach of the national team in February 2014 after having played for the team for over 14 years.
He crossed the century for the 4th and final time of his career with New Zealand in 2004. In 2016 he was appointed head coach of the Quetta Gladiators of the Pakistani Super League.
