Directors Le Mong Hoang

From a young age, Le Mong Hoang proved to be a talented boy in singing and acting. His parents let him participate in many children's programs at Hue Radio. At the age of 12, he joined the Scout movement. In 1950, he passed the baccalaureate exam and was sent by his parents to study in France. In France, he passed the entrance exam to the National Agricultural School XI Rignon and studied for 3 months in the preparatory class before he quit. Because of his passion for cinema, Le Mong Hoang decided to follow cinema. He was fortunate enough to have a friend, Mrs. Fine Art, introduce him to the principal of the National Center for French Cinema - I. DHEC in Paris. After many meetings and tests by the principal about film, Le Mong Hoang was finally accepted by the principal to enter the school. At I. DHEC, Le Mong Hoang studied Directing, Producer, Editing, Screenplay, Lighting, etc. He wrote an analytical essay on the Italian film "Tomorrow will be too late" (Demain il). sera trop tard) contains 20 handwritten pages. After graduating from the Department of Directing and Production at the Paris Graduate School of Cinema- France (IDHEC), in 1954 he was accepted into the Union of French Cinematographers. In 1955, he was accepted as an apprentice director at French Television in Paris. He worked as a deputy director of the film: The Killer in the Basement and played supporting roles in a number of broadcast plays, especially in the play Emission.

In 1957, Le Mong Hoang returned to work in Vietnam. at Truong Son Dien as a director and technical director.
