Director Pham Van Khoa is considered a veteran director of Vietnamese revolutionary cinema. He was the first Director of the National Enterprise of Vietnam Cinema and Photography since 1953. And was the former Director of the Vietnam Feature Film Studio.
Director Pham Van Khoa started making films in 1958, with debut film "Orange Garden". This is a film about the real issues surrounding agricultural cooperatives at that time. After that, he continuously embarked on making many other films such as: After the storm, Fire in the middle, Cocoon in law, Wise .... Especially with the film "Fire in the Middle", a film based on the short story "Co Nhan" by Van Dan, received a certificate of merit from the Soviet Cinema Association at the Moscow International Film Festival in 1961.
