Fashion designer Khang Trinh

He graduated from City University of Culture. HCM, majoring in music performance. After a process of study and experience, Khang Trinh realized that fashion is the field that he really wants to pursue. He decided to change direction, spending about three years studying at the Saigon Fashion Design Academy (FDA) to equip himself with more professional knowledge. This is considered an important turning point in his career journey, helping him gradually turn his love for fashion into a path of long-term development.

From the very beginning of her professional activities, Khang Trinh has paid a lot of attention to evening fashion and stage costumes for women. This is a fashion line that requires a combination of aesthetics, shape processing techniques and the ability to create effects when the wearer appears in public. Khang Trinh's designs often aim for femininity and elegance, while exploiting cuts and shapes to enhance the wearer's body.

One of the notable marks in Khang Trinh's career is the collection "Footsteps Of Light". The collection was introduced at the 2023 Fashion Show, attracting attention with designs that are modern, elegant but still performative. With lines calculated to match movements on stage, the designs show Khang Trinh's clear orientation in pursuing evening fashion.

Not only focusing on creating individual outfits, Khang Trinh also actively participates in activities related to beauty contests. At Miss & Mister UFM 2023, he took on the role of evening gown designer and had the opportunity to accompany the contestants during stage preparation. This is also an environment that helps young designers gain more practical experience in choosing outfits based on the body shape, style and image that each contestant wants to build.

After that, Khang Trinh's name continued to appear at Miss SIU 2023 and Miss SIU 2025. These activities contributed to bringing his designs closer to customer groups and audiences interested in fashion for beauty contests. With the characteristics of the beauty queen stage, costumes are not simply a fashion product but must also help the wearer express charisma, personality and make an impression in every moment of appearance.

The year 2026 continues to mark new developments for Khang Trinh. M. A.Y 89 by Khang Trinh Designer brand accompanies DNTU Aura 2026 as a sponsor of evening gowns. A more prominent milestone in 2026 will come when Khang Trinh will appear at Vietnam Beauty Fashion Fest XVI, an event within the framework of Miss World 2026 held in Hai Phong. This is the stage that brings together more than 100 Miss World contestants and introduces designs from many Vietnamese designers. Khang Trinh participated in the show with the "Golden Hour" collection, taking on the opening part of the show.

Inspired by the transition moment between day and night at sea, "Golden Hour" brings evening designs that exploit the beauty of light and sea space. The collection continues to demonstrate Khang Trinh's orientation in combining elegance and femininity with performance elements. In particular, Miss Luong Thuy Linh took on the position of vedette in the collection presentation, contributing to creating a highlight for the appearance of designs from young designers.
