Especially Minh Hanh was the first contributor in promoting the image of Vietnamese ao dai to other countries around the world. Currently, she is considered as the leading designer in Vietnam, holding the highest position at the annual fashion weeks in Vietnam.

Minh Hanh was born in a Hue family with 6 sisters. Because of the war, her family had to move to many places when she was young. From the beginning, she moved from Hue, then Da Nang and then to Saigon, the only days of adventure she brought with her were also dishes. Her favorite thing is a sewing machine. The passion for fashion was deeply imprinted on the new girl at the age of 10, she knew how to sew her own clothes, by the time she was 12, she also made her own ao dai to go to school. After graduating from Gia Dinh Fine Arts School, Minh Hanh returned to work at the newspaper office even though he didn't come out of the newspaper design school. Later, she turned to be a fashion magazine. During the difficult subsidy period, the fabric was supplied, all models at that time were newspaper staff, she designed, cut and sewed herself, made technical drawings and took pictures for the newspaper.
In 1990, she was awarded a scholarship for a lingerie design course in Indonesia.
In 1992, Legamex Company launched the first fashion center in Vietnam to invite her to become a director
In 1994, she was appointed as a director. invited to work for the Institute of Fashion Models.
Aggressive, smart, skillful along with the understanding of regions, especially the very rich Vietnamese costumes, have created a multi-talented designer. Minh Hanh like today. After decades in the profession, with a team of up to hundreds of people, Minh Hanh is considered a master in the Vietnamese fashion industry. In 2012, Minh Hanh was the only Vietnamese designer to attend the International Textile and Garment Festival special at Les Mestamorphoses exhibition at the Bargoin museum - France.
