Nguyen Viet Hung is a leading ao dai fashion designer (designer) in Vietnam with more than 20 years in the profession. And over the past 10 years, he diligently brought about 100, 000 ao dai to give to female teachers in remote areas.
As a child, designer Nguyen Viet Hung received an extremely strict education from his family. However, when half of his life is over, he is thankful for those days. Although he suffered many injuries as a child, he became extremely brave as an adult, especially when under pressure at work. Also from his childhood years, looking at his mother and beautiful teacher in ao dai, Viet Hung has cherished his love for this traditional costume and it has penetrated deep into his soul without realizing it.
When he grew up, Viet Hung soon oriented himself to become a tailor or a singer. But before reaching his dream path, he had to overcome his family's challenge, which was to pass the university entrance exam. And Nguyen Viet Hung did better than the requirements, he passed all three schools at the same time: University of Law, Economics and City Conservatory of Music. HCM. After a year of studying at three places, Viet Hung decided to give up the Conservatory of Music to focus on Law and Economics. He graduated and quickly got a job in the oil and gas industry with a very high salary at that time.
However, his love for ao dai and tailoring inspired him to boldly change direction. Giving up the job many people dream of, he manages alone in the city. HCM with many different small jobs. However, the surprising thing was that his mother returned all the money he had sent her over the years to use as business capital. The designer shared that his parents' strictness with him in the past had absolutely a reason, they were all the foundation for him to gradually build the success he has today.
