Shrek is a fictional character in the movie of the same name produced by DreamWorks. Shrek is an ogre who lives alone in a swamp full of fun. By chance, he once saved the donkey Donkey, who was very feisty and full of stubbornness. The donkey lives in the kingdom of Duloc ruled by Lord Farquaad, he has the ideal of creating a perfect kingdom, where there are no fairy creatures. Shrek and Donkey the donkey arrive in Duloc kingdom just in time for Farquaad's organization. Contest to choose the knights to rescue Princess Fiona. Farquaad was ordered to kill Shrek, but with the help of Donkey, Shrek defeated all the knights. Farquaad changed his mind on the condition that if Shrek saved Fiona, Farquaad would let the fairy creatures leave his swamp.
Shrek set out to save Fiona and Donkey, to the castle. two split looking for Fiona. But unfortunately the donkey Donkey encountered the fire dragon, with his intelligence the donkey praised the dragon and was brought into the cave by the dragon. Shrek later saves the donkey and princess Fiona.
When the three leave, Fiona wants to kiss the knight who saved her, but when Shrek takes off his hat, Fiona realizes that it is an ogre. not a knight. The princess did not want to return with Shrek, but was picked up by him and brought back to the kingdom of Duloc. On the way through the forest, Fiona chose to sleep in a cave while Shrek and the donkey lay outside. Shrek laments Donkey about how people misjudge him by his looks.
The next day, the three of them were so happy on the way home that Shrek and Fiona even nearly kissed. But when Donkey says it's getting dark, Fiona hides in the windmill. Shrek realizes his feelings for Fiona but is guilty of his bad looks.
When Donkey the donkey enters the windmill, he sees Fiona's ogre-like figure and learns of the princess's secret. lord, she is only human during the day and at night has the appearance of an ogre because of a curse, she can take on a beautiful form when she has true love. Shrek accidentally overheard a conversation between Donkey and Fiona while standing outside the door because he wanted to confess his feelings to the princess. That dialogue was about being ugly, causing Shrek to misunderstand that he was talking about himself, so he left angrily. At the end of the conversation, Fiona asks Donkey not to tell anyone her secret, and Donkey the donkey advises her to tell Shrek. Fiona went looking for Shrek but before she found it, it was morning and she returned with a beautiful birth. When Fiona tried to confess everything to Shrek, she only received angry words that no one wants to love a monster. Fiona thinks Shrek is talking about her. When the soldiers and Farquaad came to pick up Fiona, she agreed to marry Farquaad. And Shrek received a certificate of ownership of the swamp and returned to his place.
