Le Dinh Long Vu is one of the most prominent names in the current generation of Vietnam young players. He is currently playing for Song Lam Nghe An Club (SLNA) - the cradle that produces many top stars such as Cong Vinh, Que Ngoc Hai or Phan Van Duc.

Childhood associated with football
Born in a family with no sports tradition, but from a young age, Long Vu showed a strong passion for football. He regularly participates in local children's tournaments and was quickly discovered by coaches thanks to his skillful ball handling ability and smart football thinking.
When he was 11 years old, he was selected for the PTF Ha Tinh gifted team, then joined the Song Lam Nghe An training facility - a place known as the "cradle of Vietnamese football". It is here that Long Vu's talent is nurtured and developed methodically.
Shine in youth tournaments
In the colors of SLNA youth teams, Long Vu quickly showed impressive performance. He was an important factor in helping the Nghe An team win many titles in the national U13, U15 and U17 tournaments.
Skilled technique, good dribbling ability, along with sharp tactical thinking made Long Vu one of the most highly rated young players in his age group.

The year 2023 marked a major turning point in Le Dinh Long Vu's career when he was included by The Guardian (UK) newspaper in the list of “Next Generation 2023” - 60 most promising U18 players in the world.
This is the first time a Vietnamese player has appeared on this prestigious list, compared to role with young talents of top clubs such as Real Madrid, Manchester City or Barcelona.
The Guardian describes Long Vu as "a player possessing soft dribbling ability, good tactical vision and a modern playing style". This recognition is not only personal pride but also a historical mark for Vietnamese football on the world map.
