Who is Game Half-Life?
Half-Life is a science fiction first-person shooter (FPS) game published by Sierra Entertainment and developed by Valve Corporation, with the GoldSource engine deployed on the engine platform. Quake. The game has been praised by computer game critics for its engaging and profound storyline. It is one of the best-selling PC FPS games of all time.
Background:
In-game events take place in the area. Black Mesa research is located in the desert of New Mexico - this is a fictional complex that has many similarities with Los Alamos National Laboratory and Area 51 (USA). The main character is Gordon Freeman - a physics doctor who survived a failed experiment to create resonance waves that punctured space, almost destroying the research area, creating conditions for creatures from planet Xen. infiltrate the Black Mesa.
As Freeman finds a way to escape and help the wounded, he soon discovers that he is being hunted by two forces: aliens. and soldiers of the HECU (Hazardous Environment Combat Unit). When he reached the surface, this place became a battlefield between the two forces. Gordon takes refuge in the Lambda complex, Gordon goes to the planet Xen through the portal and destroys "Nihilanth" - the final boss of the game, ending the invasion of the Xen creatures. Upon his death, Nihilanth created an explosion that rendered Freeman unconscious, which he was later saved by the G-Man. The game has two endings based on these choices made by the player.
How to Play:
In addition to the battle scenes, Half-Life also includes consists of puzzles combined with jumping, climbing, interacting with the surroundings... All events in the game are seen by the player through the eyes of Gordon Freeman, and therefore the game has no cutscenes. Players will be able to see pre-programmed events and be moved closer or far away to observe.
Freeman never speaks in the game, this makes the events in the game almost observed through the player's eyes. Players are occasionally assisted by NPCs. These characters are also frequently used to convey the plot to the player.
