Lee Sang-hyeok also better known by the nickname Faker, is a professional competitive gamer. in the game League of Legends. He is also a member of SK Telecom T1, an e-sports team.
Before becoming the #1 player in League of Legends, Faker played Warcraft III like Footman Frenzy and DotA. . When he first entered League of Legends, he took the name GoJeonPa and started his first matches. In just a short time, Faker quickly achieved a record of 2536 ELO, which is higher than even professional LOL gamers in Korea. With this achievement, Faker caught the eye of Darkness as the general manager of sponsor SK Telecom invited to play in the mid lane position for the SKT T1 #2 lineup from February 2013. After 6 months of playing, he was transferred to the first team of SKT T1 #1 and continues to play in this position until now. In 2013 Faker made his debut as SKT T1 #2 in OGN Spring 2013. During this tournament Faker faced Ambition, one of the best mid laners in Korea, currently playing for CJ. Blaze. Faker picked Nidalee to face Ambition's Kha'Zix in the opening match. What surprised the audience was that a new gamer in the Korean LOL village could compete with a top player. And even more surprising to the Korean LOL community is that Faker had a spectacular transformation to win against a great Ambition. In the final of OGN Summer 2013 Faker excellently overcame Ryu of KT Bullets to help SKT T1 win the championship this season. This is also the time when his name became famous as a prodigy of Korean LOL.
After the 2013 season, Faker helped SKT T1 overcome all domestic opponents to win tickets to attend. World Championship season 3 finals. This is also the first season a Korean team has brought home the national championship trophy. And it is these "terrible" achievements that have helped Feker become a hero, a legend of League of Legends. This is also the golden period in Faker's playing career because later on, he and his teammates did not achieve high results and even lost the ticket to the World Finals season 4.
