Tran Van Tien is a handsome and very talented player. He currently plays as a goalkeeper at Song Lam Nghe An football club (SLNA FC).
Tran Van Tien was born and raised in his hometown of Do Luong, Nghe An province. From an early age, he had a love and passion for the ball. Therefore, the boy regularly and actively participates in football matches at school and in the locality. At the age of 13, Tien participated in competitions at commune level as a striker. With smart, aggressive play and good physical strength, he left a strong impression in the hearts of the audience.
Realizing their son's talent, Tien's parents decided to take him down to the SLNA youth academy to try. However, during a training session, Tien was "hurricane" so he unfinished his dream of playing for the Nghe team.
Back home, with outstanding height and steps. As a sprinter, Tien was placed in the athletic team by Mr. Nguyen Thu's father. province Nghe An. At the age of 14, Tien won the national bronze medal at the Phu Dong Fitness Tournament.
And in the following years, Tran Van Tien's life was associated with athletics. along with long runs on Vinh Stadium, but his parents did not support it. Tien's parents want their son to become a football player and put on the SLNA shirt, which is the pride of Nghe. And at the age of 17, while he was practicing hard at the stadium, he was discovered by coach Hung Le (former goalkeeper) with a height of 1m84, so he called Tien and said: "You Do you want to wear SLNA shirt?". Like "a drought meets a shower", Tien doesn't need to think about it, but nods in agreement. And from there, he parted with the steps of running on the athletic field to enter a new challenge called "the gatekeeper".
As a "side-by-side" player, Tran Van Tien always Work hard, practice tirelessly. Two years later he was given the last chance when he was added to the U19 SLNA list in the 2013 National U19 qualifier. However, at that tournament he was only in the reserve position for goalkeeper Chu Kim Thanh.
In the 2015 season, he joined the Phu Dong football team on loan in the 3rd division. In that season, the goalkeeper Do Luong helped the Phu Dong team finish in the third place. 4. In the 2016 season, he joined the People's Public Security team to play in the second division and was also arrested, helping the CAND team to finish second in their group. After 2 years of "seconded" in foreign countries, Tien was called to the SLNA 1st team and got his first official title. He won the 2017 National Cup with the Nghe team. A year later, he had a bronze medal in the 2018 National Cup and 2 main matches at the AFC Cup arena, 1 match in the 2018 V-League.
Even though he doesn't play often, he still works hard to practice. In 2019, in the second round of the last V-League, goalkeeper Nguyen Manh suddenly encountered a problem on Cua Ong field, Quang Ninh and could not be caught in the third round, so goalkeeper Tran Van Tien was officially named in the official team to welcome Binh Duong.
In the match he played with all his might and really shined to help the home team win 2-1. Since then, the goalkeeper has not stopped practicing, improving his skills and will definitely go further!
