Due to growing up in a family of landowners with conditions. At the age of 15, he went to Saigon to study at the famous Chasseloup Laubat School. After graduating from the baccalaureate, he went to France to study at the University of Toulouse.

Returning to his home country, he taught at a school in Saigon, then he was admitted to the Communist Party Indochina.
After the climax of Xo Viet Nghe Tinh, in mid-1931, he was organized to send him to the Soviet Union to study at Moscow Oriental University.
After When he returned home, he actively participated in revolutionary activities and was imprisoned many times. Although he was imprisoned for several years, his will and patriotism did not decrease. In 1954 he became the Secretary. The first letter of the Party Committee of the University's Party Committee, concurrently teaching Political Science, Philosophy, World History and Vietnam History at the University of Education and Science and the University of Science and Education.
Especially in recognition of his contributions in 1956, he was promoted to professor for the first time.
