Who is Historians Juan Cortes?
Remembered for both his diplomacy and his literary work, Cortes served as a Spanish ambassador to France and composed political works by subject such as: Lessons from Political Law (1837 ) and essays on Catholicism, liberty and socialism, considered in their basic principles (1851).
Towards the end of his career, his views and writings were mainly closely associated with Counter-Grace, Spanish traditionalism, and the Roman Catholic Ultramontanism movement.

He began studying law at the University of Salamanca at the age of twelve, and four years later, graduated from the University of Seville. After teaching at the College of Caceres, he began his involvement in politics.
He spent his early years in Valle de la Serena, Extremadura, Spain. His ancestor Hernando Cortes was a famous early 16th century Spanish Conquistador.
