Carole Macneil is an experienced and talented Canadian journalist awarded the Television Journalist Award by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. She is a host of many CBC News shows. She was the host of the evening news show Windsor from 1994 to 1998. More recently, she was the main host of "The National" at 9 p.m. Thursday. 7 on CBC News and host of "The Sunday Scrum" at 10 a.m. every Sunday.

MacNeil began her career her career from hosting radio shows at private radio stations in small town she later became a senior presenter at CBC dealing with international affairs with national coverage for many years. via. In 1987, she worked at the CBC station CHSJ-TV (now CBAT-TV) in Fredericton and joined CBC in May 1987. By co-hosting the show with Evan Solomon hosted the show "Sunay Night" on CBC News is broadcast on both CBC Television and CBC Newsworld, the Canadian 24-hour news channel that has helped her win several Gemini Awards.
