Elizabeth Parker was a Canadian journalist responsible for writing for the Manitoba Free Press (now Winnipeg Free Press) in 1900. She co-founded the Alpine Club of Canada in 1906 with Arthur Oliver Wheeler.
In 2006, a play called Elizabeth Parker and the Alpine Club of Canada was written and performed.

In 1902, she began working for the Manitoba Free Press, when the American club's president, Charles Fay, planned to start a Canadian club of American mountaineers. Amidst her nationalist ideals, she wrote harsh criticism of the ideas, and instead founded the Alpine Club of Canada as an independent Canadian climbing organization. She and the Manitoba Free Press continued to publicize and support Canadian mountaineering, and with the help of the Canadian Pacific Railroad, in 1906 she became the club's secretary. She participated in many trips and laid out the philosophical foundations of the club, writing "Canada Alpine Journal" in 1907- writing about the club including environmentalists "against the trespassing while promoting scientific research and the art of alpine farming, and promoting conservation, patriotism, and moral discipline among Canadians.
