A New York-born author decided to spend a year following every biblical rule, writing about his experience in his famous 2007 memoir, The Year of Living Bible. His other works include Know-It All (2005) and The Guinea Pig Diaries (2010).
In his 2007 book on living by the Bible, he followed more than 700 biblical rules and also interviewed people of different religions about the rules of his beliefs.
