Mr. Manh said: "My hand can only support a part. Until now, I still regret. The biggest regret is that I couldn't hold him in my arms when he was falling, I could only support his head with his hand. hand". Fortunately, the baby only had a dislocated hip, no brain damage.

On March 1, 2021, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Chu Ngoc Anh made a decision to reward Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Manh's unexpected achievements for his brave actions to save lives.
Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung also decided to award a certificate of merit to Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Manh for his brave action, quick wit, and timely saving of the baby's life.
