Ngoc Toc Review's childhood was associated with countless losses. His father was addicted to drugs and had to go to rehab many times. Ngoc's mother passed away when she was only 14 years old. After that, his father moved on and his brother also got married; Ngoc lives alone.
To support himself, the teenager has to walk more than 3km of mountain pass every day to clean in the children's play area with a salary of 10,000 VND/hour. Ngoc worked until midnight and then continued to school the next morning. There were days when he was so hungry that he had to eat boiled pumpkin instead of rice, becoming an obsession that has lasted until now.
Even though life was hard, Ngoc Toc Review still did not give up studying.
