Ninh Duc Hoang Long, born in 1991, is a son of his hometown Ninh Binh. Long was an international student on a scholarship from the Vietnam-Hungary Government while a music student. He became famous when he won first prize at the 9th Simandy Jozsef International Vocal Competition (2016) and 10th (2018); First prize at the International Operett Competition in Slovakia in May 2019 and he is currently working at the Hungarian National Opera House.
In the first years of coming to Hungary, a completely foreign country, it was quite difficult for him to get used to the language and culture of the indigenous people. However, with passion, scientific learning plan and selective absorption, after three semesters at Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music, Hoang Long always achieved top academic results in the class, especially majoring in Vocal Music.
In 2017, Hoang Long graduated with honors from the Bachelor's program; was one of three candidates who passed the exam and continued to study for a Master's degree in Opera performance at the Liszt Academy. In 2020, he successfully completed the course.
Long accidentally became famous when he sang "Hazám hazám" (My Fatherland) for the first time at the Balassi Institute. Since then, he has become a famous singer sought after by many television channels. The reputation of the singer from Ninh Binh became even greater when he won prestigious awards: First prize in the 9th Simandy Jozsef International Vocal Competition (2016) and 10th (2018); First prize at the International Operett Competition in Slovakia in May 2019...
After achieving many achievements on his musical path, Long was invited to work at the Hungarian National Opera House, and at the same time he participated in performing at many concerts in Hungary and Europe at events such as: big case.
In early September 2018, Long was honored to be the singer invited to perform to welcome General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's visit to Hungary. In October 2018, he was one of the very few foreigners granted citizenship by the President of Hungary.
Once he became famous, Ninh Duc Hoang Long returned home many times to perform on the country's major holidays, such as National Day, Lunar New Year... The young artist also became famous in the country while lying down. in the list of Under 30 in 2020 voted by Forbes Vietnam Magazine: Promising young Vietnamese faces in 2016 and 2020; Typical face of the Vietnamese Community in Hungary...
