Best known as the lead singer of a new French rock band called Indochine, this popular singer also released a 1992 solo album titled Dans la Lune. His albums with Indochine include Alice & June (which went double platinum which reached #1 on the French music charts) and Paradize (a 2002 album that received widespread acclaim).
A writer as well as a singer, he published his first collection of short stories, Les Nouvelles Mauvaises, in the late 1990s.

His twin, guitarist and keyboardist Stéphane Sirkis, is also a member of Indochine. Sadly, Stéphane died of hepatitis in early 1999.
