Han Minh Tu is a male singer who made an impression at the national Sao Mai contest in 2007. He graduated with a major in Business Administration at a university. The lyrical melodies of his homeland were instilled in his soul from an early age. Over time, he loved music more and more, especially lyrical music.

After graduating from National Economics University in 2006, he took the entrance exam to Thanh Hoa Province College of Culture and Arts (predecessor of Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism). He decided to give up his promising economic field to pursue his passion for singing. When he first decided to pursue music, Minh Tu encountered the biggest barrier from his family, especially his mother. There was even a time when he and his mother didn't talk to each other. It wasn't until later, when he had many opportunities to appear on television, that his mother's anger calmed down.

In 2007, Han Minh Tu participated in the Sao Mai contest in the Northern and Central regions and successfully reached the final night of the contest. The motivation for him to overcome difficulties throughout his journey of pursuing his passion for music came from his colleagues and family. In addition, he also received a lot of support from outstanding artist Duc Long who helped him a lot in the process of improving his singing technique and shaping his style.
