Giang Nguyen's full name is Nguyen Ba Truong Giang, currently known as the founder of the English training organization The Ivy-League Vietnam. He not only attracted attention because of his educational background at prestigious universities in the United States, but also because of his outspoken views on how to learn foreign languages, especially the difference between actually learning English and preparing for certification exams.
Before focusing on the field of education, Giang Nguyen had a quite diverse career. He used to teach at the University of Foreign Languages - Hanoi National University, where he taught content related to English - American language and culture. Besides teaching, he also worked in the legal and consulting fields at many international organizations and large businesses.
During his career, he held the role of legal consultant at Baker & McKenzie, one of the major international law firms. After that, he continued to hold the position of legal director at Thien Minh Group, and also worked as a senior legal expert at VPBank. His experiences working in an international environment gave him the opportunity to use English in many different fields, from academia to business and law.
In addition to teaching, he also regularly shares his views through articles and talks about education. These shares have created many discussions in the parent and student community about how to approach foreign language learning in the current era.
