Most remembered for his Duke Edinburgh design award for an ATM machine for the company Chubb Lock, Howe is also notable for his work on the Cambridgeshire school called Impington Village College.
In the years following World War II, he established his own architectural practice and contributed to the design of the 1958 Brussels World's Fair.
