Who is Architect Liang Sicheng?
Called by some as the father of modern Chinese architecture. Author of the first authoritative historical texts on Chinese architecture. Established the Department of Architecture at Northeastern University in 1928 and at Tsinghua University in 1946.
He contributed to the design of the national symbols for the People's Republic of China and to re-design. Beijing structure.

He studied at the University of Pennsylvania. He will continue to represent China on the Design Council of the United Nations headquarters in New York. He also assisted in analyzing the first and second oldest Chinese wooden architecture, the Nanchan Temple and the Foguang Temple.
His father was Liang Qichao, a famous Chinese thinker during the latter part of the Qing dynasty. He married Lin Huiyin, a poet and architect.
