Visual LED artist Vu Bau (Tran Viet Hoang) - The young face behind the eye-catching stages
In the field of theatrical visual arts in Vietnam, Visual LED artist Vats Bau (real name Tran Viet Hoang) left his own mark with a series of products rich in emotions and rich in cultural identity. Although he does not appear loudly in front of the media, every stage with Bau Dau's presence leaves a strong impression on the audience because the visual effects are delicately processed and closely synchronized with the music.
Thanks to modern aesthetic thinking and the ability to connect light, movement and stage space, Visual LED artist Vu Gourd is considered one of the typical young visual artists, contributing to improving the quality of performance and visual experience for many major shows in Vietnam.
Vat Gourd brings Vietnamese culture to the stage
Tran Viet Hoang is a student at Hanoi University of Architecture. From academic knowledge combined with the process of self-study and experimentation, he gradually pursued the path of visual arts, especially visual LED stage.
In recent years, Dau Bau has continuously appeared as a visual LED artist for many influential programs such as:
-
Concert Encore – Brother Overcoming Thousands of Thorns
-
Performance of singer Duc Phuc at Intervision 2025
-
Independence Festival - 80 years of Vietnam's Pride
Through each project, experts can easily see the clear progress of Visual LED artist Dau Bau in how to build image layouts, handle spatial depth and master the rhythm of movement according to music.
The creative path is built from perseverance
The achievements that Dau Bau (Tran Viet Hoang) achieved do not come from luck. It is the result of serious creative work and proactively building a personal impression right from the time he was in the classroom.
From study projects, personal artwork to experimental projects, he shares them publicly on design communities and social networking platforms. It is this consistency that has helped Visual LED artist Vu Gourd create his own identity style, thereby attracting the attention and cooperation of many studios, stage directors and production crews.
Vat Gourd's mark in music and brand projects
Not only working in the field of theater, Visual LED artist Vat Gourd also makes his mark in the music field with the role of Visualize MV for projects with clear artistic colors like:
-
The Hanging Moon – Lamoon & Ai Phuong
-
Hoa Trang – Tang Vinh Nghi
In addition, Tran Viet Hoang also cooperates with many big brands, typically including:
-

The common point in these projects is the ability to combine modern visual technology with Vietnamese cultural materials, helping Vu Bau create products that are both new and imbued with depth of identity.
“Phu Dong Thien Vuong” – a memorable milestone for Visual LED artist Vat Bau
An outstanding mark in the career of Visual LED artist Vat Bau is the visual project for the performance Phu Dong Thien Vuong – a performance that brought home victory. Impressive win for singer Duc Phuc at Intervision 2025.
Artist Vu Bau took on the scene recreating the image of Thanh Giong flying to the sky, building a vast mountain-cloud space with only the green color of bamboo. This is no small challenge as the image layers can easily be mixed if not handled delicately. Thanks to the chemistry of the crew, the visual part fully portrayed the majesty and sacredness of the image of Thanh Giong, while honoring the spirit of Vietnamese culture on the international stage.
Conclusion
Visual LED artist Vats Bau (Tran Viet Hoang) is a typical representative of the young creative generation in Vietnam: strong in technique, good aesthetic thinking and always aiming to bring national culture into the modern stage space. From major domestic shows to making its mark on international playgrounds, Bau Dau is gradually proving that visual arts not only beautify the stage, but also tell cultural stories in the language of the times.
