Who is Band Monstar St.319?
MONSTAR is a boy band with 5 members but is currently only debuting with 3 debut members who are well-trained at ST. 319 Entertainment. The band's name is based on the word Monsten, which means monster. The first three members of the group when they debuted were ERIK - NICKY - KEY, the group's debut product was the MV called Baby baby which was introduced to the audience on September 1, 2016. 2/3 scenes in the MV were taken in Korea, one day after the release of the MV, it ranked in the top 10 MVs.
Member NICKY is considered the eldest brother of the group, funny and always cares for everyone, holding the position of leader, main dancer and rapper of the group. Being a member always brings laughter to other members. Previously he had participated in music products: Perfecr Love by S. T (group 365daband).
Member ERIK plays the main vocal role, a member who has achieved much success in solo songs. Member Erik knows how to care for everyone but is the "secret" boy of the group. Especially the song After all, Winter, Love and love, Who am I in you…
Member Key plays the main dance role of the group. Has a slightly shy personality, possesses a "sunny smile", is lovely and very gentle.
Before debuting as singers, the members of MONSTAR were dancers from the St. 319. Nicky and Key also participate in promotional videos of some brands.
On February 25, 2017, on member Erik's personal page, he surprised fans when he suddenly announced his departure from the group without giving a reason. After his departure, Erik got into trouble with his former management company ST. 319 accused of violating ethics as well as lack of discipline during operations.
Immediately after Erik's departure, MONSTAR had a new member Doan The Lan - intern at ST. 319. The Lan is not too strange to the audience as he was once a member of the team Lam Truong in the program The Voice Kids - Vietnamese Children's Voice 2014 and the Sing my song - Best song contest.
