Led Zeppelin the legendary British rock band, one of the most successful, most innovative and influential rock bands in history. Led Zeppelin is one of the best-selling artists, in the US alone, according to the RIAA, has sold at least 111.5 million records. All nine of Led Zeppelin's studio albums entered the top 10 of Billboard 200.6, of which peaked at number one.

It can be said that no band except The Beatles has a song that is "not as famous" as Led Zeppelin. The quartet released only 73 songs in their entire career, but many of those songs became part of the pop culture consciousness. However, during their 12 years of existence, Led Zeppelin never owned a golden record even though they stormed the stage in the 1970s and the tunes they composed had a great influence on the later generations.
In 1980, Led Zeppelin announced their disbandment after John Bonham died of alcohol poisoning. In the following decades, the remaining members of Led Zeppelin pursued their own projects, sometimes engaging in band reunion activities at certain times. Led Zeppelin's most successful reunion was the 2007 Ahmet Ertequn tribute concert.
