Who is Band Twice?
TWICE is a top girl group in Korea founded by JYP Entertainment through the reality show Sixteen 2015. TWICE debuted on October 20, 2015 with their first mini album "The Story Begins". TWICE consists of 9 members, including 5 Korean members, 3 Japanese members and 1 Taiwanese member. It is surprising that within only 2 years, TWICE has been favored by the Korean media with the name "national group" which all Girlgroups wish. TWICE's "TT" recently also became the MV of a Girlgroup with the most views in Kpop history.
The debut song "Like OOH-AHH" soon resonated with TWICE. But it was not until the release of the super products "Cheer Up", "TT", "Knock Knock", that TWICE really stole the hearts of music lovers not only in Korea but also in many other countries.
In 2016, the song "Cheer Up" by JYP Entertainment's darling group ranked first on the Gaon Digital Chart, becoming the best song of the year. This song also won the "Song of the Year" award in the two major music awards "Melon Music Awards' and "Mnet Asian Music Awards". The song "TT" helped the 3rd EP album "Twicecoaster: Lane 1" become became the best-selling album of a K-pop girl group in 2016, selling 350, 852 copies at the end of the year. Within 19 months of release, TWICE released 4 expansion albums and 1 special album, selling 1.24 million version.
There is an unwritten rule of Kpop that in groups, there is at least 1 member from a great family like Siwon (Super Junior), Sooyoung (SNSD), Suho (EXO) ... but TWICE has four members from prestigious families: Tzuyu, Mina, Jeongyeon, Momo.
Members of TWICE:

• Jihyo (real name is Park Ji Soo born February 1, 1997) has 10 years of experience c trainee at JYP, has good vocal and choreography skills. In the group, she takes the position of leader and main vocal.
• NaYeon (real name is Im Na Yeon, born on September 22, 1995) attracts attention thanks to her attractive appearance and good voice. In the group, she is the eldest sister and takes the lead vocal position.
• JeongYeon (real name Yoo Jeong Yeon was born on November 1, 1996) has a strong personality, tomboy style. Audiences watching "Sixteen" were especially impressed with Jeongyeon's excellent, flawless performances. She has a strong voice, good choreography, is one of the three main vocal members of the group.
• Momo (real name is Hirai Momo born on 9/11/1996). Although she was eliminated from the first rounds of "Sixteen", she was suddenly selected to the group thanks to her relentless efforts. Momo has great dancing ability, plays the main dancer role in the group.
• Sana (real name is Minatozaki Sana born on December 29, 1996) is impressed by the ability to speak witty and intelligent. Sana has a very good expression on stage. Sana plays a supporting role in the group.
• Mina (born March 24, 1997) has the shortest trainee period at JYP compared to the rest of the members. Although Mina has a thin voice, she still has a special charm to listeners. She has the ability to buy great Ballet thanks to 11 years of studying this subject. She takes on the role of a sub-vocalist in the group.

• Dahyun (name) Kim Da Hyun was born on May 28, 1998) compared to the other members, Dahyun is not outstanding in both looks and vocals, but she has an amazing ability to master the stage. Dahyun takes on the role of the sub-Rap in the group.

• The maknae Chaeyoung (real name Son Chae Young was born on April 24, 1999). Has the ability to sell super popular Rap and is praised by many teachers of JYP for his ability to compose music. She takes the position of Main Rapper in the group.
• Tzuyu (real name Chou Tzu Yu born on June 14, 1999) is the only Taiwanese member, outstanding for her beautiful appearance and ideal height. She holds the role of Visual in the group.
