Painter Van Thanh is a famous Vietnamese cartoonist. He took the pseudonym V. Thanh.
He was originally a high school art teacher. His predestined career as a cartoonist was also very accidental when he was invited by a friend, Ta Luu, to join the satirical village (Ta Luu is a professional cartoonist drawing for Thong Nhat newspaper). Since then, he has produced many works bearing his own imprint. And his first painting was published in Thong Nhat newspaper in 1963.
Van Thanh's paintings are imprinted with humorous and satirical paintings associated with daily life and besides that he also He also added cartoons and children's cartoons for the newspaper Children and Teenagers Pioneers.
After that, he has been the main writer on the page Youth laughs ever since.

Consolation prize with the picture Returning from work, and also won the Special Prize of the Vietnam Journalists Association for the author who has many high-quality works participating in the prize and has been published in the newspaper for 2 years (2013 - 2014)
