Tran Viet Hung is not just a startup founder, but also a model for the generation of Vietnamese businessmen at Silicon Valley. From a pure scientist, he has become a CEO with the desire to bring Vietnamese technology products to international reach.
Born in 1980 in Giao Thuy, Nam Dinh , Tran Viet Hung is one of the pioneering faces of the Vietnamese Startup generation in the US. After graduating from Information Technology at Hanoi University of Technology (2002), he continued to pursue a doctorate scholarship in the full part of the computer science at the University of Iowa (2008) by the Education Fund Vietnam (VEF). However, his career path turned to a completely different direction. Right from the second year of college, Hung has started to learn more about business to have a more comprehensive foundation, instead of just focusing on technology.
<4> Gotit! - Challenging starting stepWhen founding Gotit! At first, Hung invited an American CEO to run the company. But after a while, realizing that the orientation did not go in the right trajectory, he decided to take on the leading role. This is the time when he had to learn from all management skills to be able to drive a business.
The reality shows that 9/10 startups often fail in the first year, largely because the product does not solve the needs. To avoid that trace, Gotit! Choose to verify ideas with data and test directly with users before product development.

Gotit's current revenue! Mainly comes from investments, instead of direct revenue from users. This shows strong beliefs from funds to invest in the company's long -term potential.

Hung shared: “Gotit! And Capricorn Investment Group chose each other because of the same long -term vision. Our goal is to turn Gotit! into a global technology company.”
Although frankly acknowledging the possibility of failure still exists, he believes Gotit! Have the opportunity to become a "unicorn" billion dollars in the next few years. The company is currently focusing on English -speaking markets like North America and Europe, and at the same time studying expanding to Japan and Korea.
