Musician Do Le, whose real name is Do Huu Le, is a Vietnamese musician. He is known to the public with two songs, "Sang Horizontal" and "Love Mother".
Songwriter Do Le composed his first song "Sang Horizontal" when he was 15 years old. This song was written based on his love with singer Le Thanh. After this song was released to the public, it attracted the attention of the public, especially young people.
The song "Queen Love" was composed by musician Do Le in the days of suffering, when his marriage with singer Hoai Xuan broke up. This song is the main soundtrack in the movie "Waves", and was selected for the final round of the best soundtracks at the Asian Film Festival held in Tokyo - Japan.
In 1994, musician Do Le was sponsored by relatives to move to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA to settle in.
October 1996, return to visit homeland. On March 24, 1997, he suddenly ended his life with a powerful dose of Quinine at the rented house on Tran Dinh Xu Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. Two suicide notes were found in his house – one to his wife and one to a close friend! Do Le's death leaves behind regret for many admirers, people cry for him, feel sorry for him - a talented but destined musician!
During his composing career, he has eliminated about 700 pieces of music. But in it, there are two most famous songs, "Sang Horizontal" and "Queen Love".

In 1951, Do Le taught himself music and began to practice composing
In 1953, he studied at Saigon Fine Arts College, in 1954 at Gia Dinh Fine Arts College, in 1959 at Saigon University of Science, in 1963 at Saigon University of Law.
After 1975, musician Do Le opened a music class on Truong Minh Giang Street. In the following years, this music class of his continued to be attended by a large number of students, so he had a rather affluent, peaceful and stable life.
