Who is Composer Truong Hai?
Composer Truong Hai was a famous musician and singer in southern Vietnam before 1975. He was successful in his debut song "Do you remember me". This song was bought by Dien Hong publishing center for 15,000 VND, equivalent to a few months' salary of middle-class civil servants at that time.
The song "Afternoons without you" by the musician Truong Hai through the performance of the male singer Hung Cuong has captivated many audiences. This song was also sold by the author to the singer's music center Duy Khanh for 18,000 VND .
Two songs with cheerful melodies by Truong Hai are highly appreciated as "Nhap Dan merry" which he self-published and sold 10,000 copies. And the song "Love song of the seafarer" with the sales volume of 30,000 copies.
After the events of April 1975, musician Truong Hai returned to work as a musical instrument dealer and joined Hoang Bieu's troupe to tour and find a way to cross the sea.
In 1979, Truong Hai successfully crossed the border to Nam Duong. After that, he settled in Orange County in 1980. In 1981, he founded Truong Hai music center. He still maintains the singing and recording activities of the program "Truong Hai" with singers abroad. In addition, he also released a series of ten anthologies “Vietnamese music”.
Most recently, he released the music collection "Truong Hai Author Of 122 Songs" with a CD accompanied by the author's own voice and many other singers.
