She returned to Vietnam Feature Film Studio as a voice actress for foreign films.
She was chosen by director Mai Loc to play the role of Miss My in the movie A Phu Couple (script To Hoai) in 1961. This is the first and best role of Duc Hoan told. even later. For this role in 1973 she received the Silver Lotus at the second Vietnam Film Festival. Her next roles continued to make a strong impression such as Hoan (Going further, director Mai Loc, Tran Vu, 1964), Doan's wife (Dawn on the high mountain, Tran Dac, Nguyen Do Ngoc, 1966), Kieu Trinh (August Star, Tran Dac, 1976), minister's wife (Quiet Town, 1986). .. From 1967-1972, she studied film directing at Moscow State University. After returning home, she worked as a director and screenwriter for many films such as From a forest, Hanoi in the season of birds nesting, Love and distance, Rainy life, Haunting, Guest in the countryside, Love story inside the river... She was conferred the title of Excellent Artist by the State.
She died on April 2, 2003 in Hanoi, at the age of 66.

Her husband is director, People's Artist Tran Vu. A daughter of the two grandparents also follows the film career, is an animation director, elite artist Phuong Hoa.
