When he was a student, he applied for a job as a manager of a fashion brand, learning a lot of experience. It was a time for him to accumulate everything for himself before deciding to embark on the profession. In the most recent interview, he himself affirmed: "At that time I only had 30 million dong". The sentence of all things that started with Phong was not wrong at all.
After stepping out of the top 10 of the Vietnam Idol 2007 contest, a graphic design student like me discovered that singing was not for me. I would like to work as a fashion brand manager with a friend and have learned a lot. After 2 years of working together, I decided to separate and establish my own brand in 2010. At that time, I only had 30 million dong. After 5 years of hard work and accumulation, I gradually built a career as well as have enough financial ability to support my parents far away.
Many people think that I have a noble person to help me with money, but in fact, everything I have today is from empty hands. When I first came to Ho Chi Minh City to study at university, I only received money from my parents for the first two months. By the third month, I worked all kinds of jobs to pay for my living, from singing in tea rooms, selling clothes to stores to collaborating on photo shoots with newspapers. Fortunately, thanks to the spiritual help of friends and relatives, I have enough faith and energy to overcome all difficulties in life.
