Hoang Van Phuc is a former football player and head coach of the Vietnam national team. Before coming to the coaching profession, Hoang Van Phuc was a player who played for The Cong, Military Zone III, and Vietnam Railways teams. He is highly regarded when playing in the midfield position. In 1996 Hoang Van Phuc started his coaching career. He used to be the coach of the Vietnam Railways football team, then he moved to become the deputy coach of the Asia Bank Football Club (Hanoi ACB) in 2000, and was appointed in the year 200. appointed as head coach.
